Let’s Get to Work
The global plastic debt is over 9 billion tons and counting. It’s a crisis that threatens our health, our livelihoods and our planet. Together, we can make a difference.
The Plastic Cleanup Partner Program
In March 2024 PCX Solutions announced a transition away from Net Zero Waste certification, and PCX Markets launched the Plastic Cleanup Partner program. While the methodology we used to certify the Net Zero claims is robust and sound, there is no global consensus as yet on the terminology and methodology for Net Zero.
The Plastic Cleanup Partner label is awarded to companies and brands that deliver significant, measurable impact in cleaning up plastic waste. Customers who see the PCX Plastic Cleanup Partner label can be assured that they’re buying products from a brand that’s working hard to keep plastic waste out of nature.
Since the Net Zero Plastic Waste Certification came with a three year commitment, the NZPW label may continue to appear on some of our partners’ packaging as we make this transition.

Participate in the Plastic Cleanup Partner Program at three levels
To join the Plastic Cleanup Partner program, partners must purchase clean up credits that either offsets their plastic footprint by volume or equates to 0.02% of their annual gross revenue, by value, whichever is greater. This can be done at three levels - by company, brand or product.
Company Membership
Become a full company member and use the Plastic Cleanup Partner logo across all your corporate and digital assets, as well as on all product packaging, across different products and brands.
Brand
Membership
Make a commitment to funding cleanup as part of your brand’s plastic stewardship plan. Brand partners can use the PCP logo on their specific brand’s packaging and digital assets, across product lines.
Product Membership
Identify the plastic inventory and revenue associated with your product, and commit to a funding cleanup for the higher of the two. Use the Plastic Cleanup Partner logo on products and adjacent services in your product line.
Flexible Cleanup Credit Options
Make an impact in areas that matter the most to you and your customers. Each year you can choose to support projects that meet your sustainability goals based on location, type of plastic, processing method or socio-economic impact.
